At Pendennis Community Centre, we’re passionate about supporting healthy lifestyles, sustainability, and local community initiatives. That’s why we’re proud to be a local collection point for Soul Farm’s weekly food boxes - packed with seasonal, organic produce grown right here in Cornwall.
As we mark National Allotment Awareness Week, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the value of fresh, home-grown food and the positive impact it has on our health and our planet.
Soul Farm is a regenerative market garden based in Flushing, growing delicious veg without chemicals, using no-dig principles and composting to care for the soil. Their weekly veg boxes are full of goodness and a great way to eat seasonally, while supporting local farmers and reducing food miles.
Eating this way isn’t just good for the planet; it’s great for your health too. Fresh, organic vegetables are packed with nutrients that support physical and mental wellbeing. Preparing meals from scratch encourages mindful eating, better digestion, and connection with what’s on your plate. Sharing this experience, whether with family, friends, or through conversations at the Centre, builds a stronger, more connected community. It’s food that truly nourishes, in every sense.
How it works:
Order your veg box via Soul Farm’s website: soulfarm.ooooby.org
